Biden Seized 2 Million Acres in Outright Land Grab…

As you well know, the liberal powers of government currently at the helm seem to want everything in the entire nation to come under federal control. And that includes all lands and waterways.

Obviously, our lands and properties are not something most of us will give up so easily. And so Biden and his ilk have to be a bit trickier than usual about getting it, which is exactly what they have just done in the western state of Utah.

Here, Biden has just announced the seizure of nearly 2 million acres of once private and tribal-owned lands for federal use.

So how did he manage such a feat?

Well, he’s once again played into the liberal left’s constant need to ‘go green’ and use the race card.

According to a news release given on Thursday by Biden’s Department of the Interior, the areas of Bear Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments in the state are to soon come under federal control as a way to “restore protections.”

If you’ve heard of Bear Ears, it’s likely because the area, which encompasses some 1.35 million acres, was designated as a national monument by former President Barack Obama back in 2016. As such, it was placed under the supervision of the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service.

Before that, the Grand Staircase-Escalante area was made into a national monument by former President Bill Clinton in 1996. By the time Congress made all the requested adjustments, 1.87 million acres were given to the feds.

But when Trump entered the Oval Office, his ideas on land management, namely that the federal government shouldn’t be in control of all, made a few changes. Under his orders, Bears Ears National Monument was reduced to 228,000 acres of federally controlled land in 2017, and Grand Staircase-Escalante was nearly cut in half, containing only about 1 million acres.

Of course, liberally backed media outlets such as NPR immediately began to raise a ruckus, claiming that more than a few Native Americans from the areas were upset by the decisions.

According to the outlet, “The Navajo Nation has made repeated requests to meet with President Trump on this issue. The Bears Ears Monument is of critical importance, not only the Navajo Nation but to many tribes in the region.”

But as Trump made clear, his decision to reduce the size of both monuments did nothing to discredit the importance of either site or make them inaccessible to those who cared about it. In fact, if it did anything, it put those lands directly into the control of the people who lived and held ancestry there.

As he told a crowd in Utah at the time, “No one values the splendor of Utah more than you do… and no one knows better how to use it.” And that’s exactly why he didn’t want those millions of acres to be under federal control, which would deny native tribes like the Navajo from having any say in how it was being used, or even the state of Utah for that matter.

By reducing the amount of federally held lands, Trump gave the control back to the people, as it should be.

Of course, it should surprise no one that Biden doesn’t exactly hold to those same ideals. And so, just as with everything else, he has reversed Trump’s efforts and taken back control of these lands.

Now, Native American organizations such as the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition will no longer have any say or part in any discussion on how, why, or when their ancestral lands will be used. Should Biden and his Washington-residing cohorts decide to turn the area into another Democratic-run metropolis, unlikely as it may be, their only move to stop him is to complain, which, as history has taught us, doesn’t tend to do much.

While they might seem pleased with Biden’s recent announcement, I doubt they will be when Biden’s tearing up their homelands without a care in the world.
