Biden Rolls Out the Red Carpet for 500,000 Illegal Immigrants and Border Crossers So Far in 2021

Newly released data shows just how open the borders have become under the Biden administration. So far in 2021 over 500,000 illegal immigrants and border crossers have waltzed down the Biden red carpet into America. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) recently penned a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and detailed how the incredibly expensive Biden ‘catch and release’ program is for processing border crossers and illegal immigrants.

As of August 31, DHS has released 530,000 total illegals. 273,000 were released under DHS Title 8 authority. This means they are caught, given a Notice To Appear (NTA) for immigration court, or Notice To Report (NTR) to a DHS office in the U.S.or parole forms allowing them to work in the U.S., thus taking more American jobs.

From these 530,000 released 124,000 border crossers have been processed by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency while 102,000 fall into the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) designation. Another 31,000 were processed and released while being labeled as ‘other outcomes’ with little clarification as to what that means.

This data proves there aren’t just families coming here. Children are being trafficked and there is little to no ability to get them back with their parents. Thus an even bigger burden on the American immigration and child care systems. These figures also do not account for the estimated 344,000 illegal aliens that crossed the U.S.-Mexico border since 1 October 2020. As such these are considered to be ‘got-aways’.

As such, Sen. Johnson is asking for the data about what DHS is actually doing here. “According to recent data, CBP has “processed” 273,396 aliens using 8 U.S. Code Title 8 from January 1, 2021, through August 31, 2021. This total includes aliens that were dispersed into the United States with Notices to Appear (NTA), Notices to Report (NTR), and via parole. Based on those 273,396 processed aliens, please provide a breakdown of how many were given an NTR and how many were paroled.”

While these questions may seem unreasonable to some, we must be keeping track of where people are going, how they are getting there, and what we are doing as a nation to stem the tide of this mass influx of immigration. While Johnson is not the first Senator to be asking these questions, all other requests for information have gone unanswered.

Given the numbers of ‘catch and release’ subjects, these numbers are high enough to massively alter the population of America. With numbers exceeding the current population of places like Tampa, FL; Pittsburgh, PA; Cincinnati, OH; or New Orleans, LA if left unchecked they could completely change the fabric of America.

As anyone who knows the goals of many illegal immigrants and border-crossers is aware, many come here to take jobs at nearly slave wages, send money back to their home countries, and in turn strip away opportunities from American citizens. Considering many of these jobs are on farms, crop plantations, or in mall food courts, this is of little concern to most Americans. However, with these people also comes the drug smugglers, gang members, murderers, rapists, and other vile individuals.

These are the people that need to be kept out, and if this ‘catch-and-release’ program continues, there will be more of these inherently dangerous people walking American streets. There is no guarantee they will make their NTA or NTR dates. There is no guarantee they will stay where they are, or that they have intentions of obeying American law once they break the first one by coming here illegally. If we don’t do something soon America can quickly find itself becoming just like the third world countries many of them are fleeing from.
