Biden Gives $164 Million to Soros Organization to Help Migrants Escape Punishment

Democratic President Joe Biden and his left-wing affiliates have recently been accused and condemned for being “soft on crime,” as all around the nation, we are seeing a massive spike in crimes of every nature and category. Of course, his administration has denied it thus far.

As the Hill reported, White House press secretary Jen Psaki insists that there is “no basis” or at least not one, in fact, that proves Biden or the party, in general, is indeed soft on crime. To add to that, she said that the higher crime rates are due to lax gun laws rather than the fact that criminals are not being punished for their abdominal behavior. But as with everything else she claims, she failed to present any evidence of her point.

We, on the other hand, have plenty of evidence to suggest that Biden and his ilk are indeed soft on crime and that, like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says, those policies are “destroying our country.”

Case and point is the recent approval by the White House to give a leftist advocacy group known as the Vera Institute of Justice some $164 million in funds to provide legal aid to illegal and even criminal migrants so that they can further avoid punishment.

According to Just the News, the federal budget watchdog Open the Books discovered that Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services or HHS contracted the organization in 2021, awarding them some $158 million for that year. But this year, the White House wants to give them even more, the $164 million I mentioned above.

Furthermore, rumor has it that Biden and others have suggested this number go up even more, to $198 million by the time final approvals and all are complete.

That’s nearly $200 million being shilled out so that illegal immigrants, even those who are convicted rapists, murderers, and thieves, can walk out into the public communities of your neighborhood without so much as a thought to the consequences of their actions.

And while that is troubling enough, what is just as disturbing is that rather than curbing the idea that illegal immigration is ok, this organization and its actions only seem to encourage it.

I mean, what kind of immigrant, criminal or otherwise, will ever respect our laws if the very government tasked with making and enforcing those laws are also paying for their freedom? The fact is they won’t. However, it will encourage more and more migrants to assume they can get the same kind of treatment that US-born citizens wouldn’t get in a million years.

Plus, as Open the Books founder and CEO Adam Andrzejewski says, they are doing all this “with your tax dollars.”

They are taking hundreds of millions in taxpayer funding and putting it towards making illegal immigration and crimes legal. Suffice it to say, it is a rather troubling idea.

But to make matters even worse, Andrzejewski points out that as a nonprofit entity and one that is not government-affiliated, besides receiving funding from them, Vera is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act, which would allow citizens like you and me to “follow the money,” making sure it is being used in legal ways.

Oh, did I mention that the Vera Institute for Justice is a Soros-linked group?

According to Just the News, anti-American billionaire George Soros has partly funded the organization for years, giving more than $10 million to them through his Open Society Foundation.

Fox News, who spoke with Immigration Reform Law Institute’s Jason Hopkins, says that Vera “is a behemoth progressive nonprofit based out of New York City with well over a $140 million budget, which they use to fund a slate of progressive causes and initiatives across the country, whether that be criminal justice reform, bail reform and also immigration.”

So basically, all this soft-on-crime stuff is being pushed onto the American public by groups like this, hell-bent on serving not law-abiding American citizens but illegal immigrants and criminals of all kinds.

And President Biden just gave them almost $200 million to continue those efforts. So yeah, I’d say he’s soft on crime, alright, and anti-American to boot.
